" alahhh tarukla watermark cam biase " tak buleh jugak ler bang, soriii. Tapi yang aku perasan dengan teknik croping ni, impak dier lagi kuat! Padahal percayalah, hasilnya same je macm sebelum nih. Assalamualaikum, there is a story related to this post. Not a good story. Its happen last June ~ July. I accept this freelance job as I really need raise some money for baby delivery cost by the end of Nov. So immediately I accept this job from Mr W. He need 18 view overall. I manage to complete 13 view and then something comes up.

There was urgent submission for office job. Same dateline as for Mr W. By looking at all the task, Its impossible for me to get done both freelance and office job. When an important decision must be made in a high-pressure situation, I`m worry about making a “bad” or “wrong” decision.

However, time is often a luxury that I cannot afford. So I choose to leave out Mr W job. The bad action, I mean unethical action that I do at that time ~ I completely ignore Mr W. By the time goes by, when I look back at all these perspective, “ Wow it is so unethical, wrong, bad, disreputable, unprofessional decision I’ve made…” In a high-pressure situation I thought it was the best decision, but it actually can be solve simply by communication.

Yes, Mr W might not accept any excuse, but eventually there must be a solution by the end of conversation. This post might be have an effect on my reputation, but I still want to share this experience for me to learn and for others to become conscious that communication is the most important element in our life for both career and personal life. I`m sorry Mr W…..

Kerja aku tak semegah ~ sbb tu aku tak pernah kesah, janji aku buat yang aku mampu. Kudrat aku kerja aku. Tapi benar, kerja aku datangnya dari mereka yang memerah idea. Idea mereka ini menagih keunikan, menagih hak. Aku selama ini tidak menegakkan hak ini. Pada dasar aku hanya ingin berkongsi jalan yang sama. Sama² berbicara tentang hala yang sama. Tetapi ada yang memesongkan jalan itu. Datang cemar. Datang khianat. Menaguk. Aku sedar kerja aku dijalan ini tak semegah, aku ulangi, aku sedari. Tapi ada yang datang bawa hajat, bawa nasihat. yang datang ini ialah mereka yang kumaksudkan tadi. Aku akur, aku mengikut. Aku ikut bukan kerana aku angkat bakul aku sendiri, aku ikut kerana ingin aku jaga jalan yang aku lalui, bersama mereka.

Assalamualaikum, hehehe camne Raya Haji tahun nih? Ape yang anda dah korbankan? :) Dalam boring² wat 3d, aku try² main photoshop. Dah banyak kali nak model kerete Lancer tapi tak jadi² ( takde kesabaran ) so last² aku wat photoshop jek. Dari Paultan ade berite pasal proton dan mitsu nak wat kerjasama, antaranya model Lancer yang nak diproton-kan dan model exora nak di mitsu-kan. Ceritanya ~model Lancer akan diambil untuk projek Waja, katanya nose grill depan lancer tu akan di flipkan~ huh, maka aku wat experiment sendiri jadilah gambar diatas... errr cam tak kene jek... ;)

Assalamualaikum,

Malam tadi sembang ngan salah seorang otai dalam dunia persada 3D nih katanya, cari rezeki dalam dunia creative dan teknikal ni memang masyukk kalau kena care dan gaye TAPI ~ memenatkan. Orang cakap "wat keje ape pun penat.." tapi bagi aku tak kesah la wat ape pun, cuma cari jalan yang paling produktif ~ wat 3d nih secara tradisi, selalu tak tido malam, kerah mata, dah submit ade amendment plak, tak tido lagi. Bagi profesional yang charge pade harga servis ikut pasaran profesional takpe lah, mcm aku nih kiranya bidang terjun jugak wat 3d nih, kita charge pun setakat nak makan jek. Dah dapat payment pun kengkadang rase tak berbaloi.

Maybe sebab tu ade antaranya mereka nih, mula berniaga secara kecil-kecilan, mahupun besar-besaran. Brader otai 3d yg aku bersembang smalam dah ade perancangan bagus dier, dah nampak jalan yg dier nak tuju. Ada jugak kawan aku yg lain dah lama berkecimpung dalam dunia perniagaan nih. Ada yang dah ade kedai sendiri, opis sendiri, kagum aku. Tumpang gembira. 90% rezeki datang dari perniagaan kan? Hmmm bagi member² yang nak start berniaga dan yang dah start dah pun, teruskan usaha murni nih, cuma pelulah beringat dalam pengambilan untung, setiap sen akan dipersoalkan nanti ye tak?

Harap aku jumpa jalan untuk berniaga nih, niat dah ade, jalan je masih tak nampak. Nak kene orang lain tunjuk jalan,bukakan pintu, jemput masuk ~ baru bleh jalan. Tapi takkan nak harapkan org je ye tak? Pada semua member² yg dah berniaga sendiri, aku kagum ngan ketabahan dan keyakinan anda! Tabik!

Assalamualaikum and Hye. For all friends, colleague and clients ~ I`m so sorry for being so quiet for this week as I had high fever (11 August 09 ) and fully recovered on 14 August 09. I`ll be quarantine myself until end of this week ( As instructed by Hospital Ampang ) . Any meetings, meet-up etc can only be continue on monday (17 August 09 ). I`m really sorry for any inconvenience.

Note: I did my checkup at a private clinic (Rapid test Kit) for RM38 (80% Accuracy) and another checkup at Hospital Ampang. My wife ( 5 months pregnancy ) was given Tamiflu antiviral from the same hospital. Any of you in high risk group should get it from any general hospital ( or private hospital cost RM200~RM300) kat GH kita bayo singgit jek :) thanks gov

Assalamualaikum, when I look back - from the first post on 19th September 2006, That is the first post as a first step to build up this blog. Yeah I decide to be a blogger after 1 year+ working as 3D Visualizer/Interior Designer. Then, I decide to be full-time 3D Visualizer. Since then this blog has become my platform to share my works and 3 years++ has past away ~ If I comparing my development with other 3D artist blogger, I`m moving quiet slow. Younger generation moving much more faster and their skill develop even faster. Feel so old :D but I`m glad, so glad that I can share my knowledge with other espcially with my colleague - Kertas Kosong. In the end, the real is, no matter how old you are - your truly passion+work hard will bring you up to the higher level, practice make perfect ~ but no body is perfect, it just make you better than before.

p/s : wow its almost 5 years i`ve been working ~ what did I have contribute to this industry? have you contribute any?

Here you go! After long 3 weeks works the biggest scene I ever did has finish, thanks to Mamu for helping me out for some part of it. Oh dear, they asking for some others close up view.. baru ingat nak hepi-hepi uhuhuhuh kesengsaraan kembali!~ at the moment, I re-render the scene for 9000x5400 pixel resolution~ aiyohh kesian my pc :)

Detail: I used Intel Quad Core @ 2.33Ghz per clock, 4GB RAM on WinXP 64bit ( seriously if you handling big scene like this, 64bit OS are most recommended!) the 3ds max scene file is only 40MB but the vrayproxy file are huge! Total vraymesh for buildings are 90MB, all boat 50MB and all those tree are 400MB. It take 2hour to render for 3200x1920 size and 12hour for 9000x5400 size :). Post work is done in Adobe Photoshop

Interior: Ambient Occlusion

Salam, have you heard about Ambient Occlusion (AO) before? By using this method, it will give more soft and deep shadow. It is not the same shadow that generate from lighting source, it is deep shadows that appear in the corners or creases of object/mesh.

For example, first image is without AO ( this is 2hour rendering in 1600x800 original size, I did this purposely for this post )

If you can see, some corners ( mostly at white surface- sofa, wall & etc) nearly wipeout, cant see the detail and deep shadow between each surface of mesh, by using vrayligt material with vraydirt map in overide material slot, it will generate second image.

By blending these 2 image in photoshop with multiply mode, the final result will become like the third image:

As you can see, white wall at the most back wall now more likely visible than before I apply the AO. Same goes at the sofa, the button and the gap between are more visible and believable ;)

Tutorial : Reduce your rendering time!

Assalamualaikum! Malas nak type english kali nih. hahahahhaha.
Ok takde 3d baru, tapi just nak tunjuk camne nak "jimat" kan mase rendering kalau gune Vray sebagai renderer engine. Care nie takde la sampai cut 90% mase yang korang selalu habiskan tapi sekurang-kurangnye dapatlah cut sehingga 50%. Takde trick pape pun, care nie memang ade diterangkan kat official vray documentation kat sini .

Ok melalui care nie, korang takyah nak calculate irr map ngan light chace mengikut size rendering output korang. Contohnya kalau korang nak render size 1800 x 1200 sebagai final output, tak payah la nak calculate pada kadar size yang sama! Just calculate 900 x 600 dan guna data tersebut untuk rendering 1800 x 1200. Senang cerita, calculate half dari size final output.

"camne nak buat tu?" haaa download video ni dan cuba fahamkan. Aku tak dapat nak rekodkan suara sebab aku buat menatang ni kat opis, kang orang perasan plak aku cakap sorang² kan!

Assalamualaikum, this project I got it from my friend, Aloy;)! He introduce me to this high motivated Indian guy. After from first meeting, since Mac 2008 here is output of this long-term project. It is a R&D project under goverment for low-cost removable house. I`m only get aproval to show the still image ( the animation still in progress ) But dont expect the animation will be like the these. For animation I`m required to animate by sequence how the removable house to be construct and dissemble and render it in cell-shading style - so no realism will put for animation. This project take quiet along time as we need to study it very detail ( the real mock-up has been build ). Yesterday I`ve got his approval to upload this images. All part for the house is built up in AUTOCAD and Solid Works, believe me the house itself have more MB than all the trees! All the bolt, nut, steel frame, structure, be model exactly whatwe have at site. Trees from Onyx for general, for detail trees i built in 3ds max 2009 with paint deformation, same goes to the contour of the hill. Lighting with vray sun +vray sky. C&C are most welcome.

Kenaikan Harga Minyak ... lihat orang yang lebih susah

Assalamualaikum, cuba klik gambarajah diatas untuk penyampaian lebih jelas. Dah hampir 2 minggu sejak kenaikan harga minyak. Harga barang, makanan dan perkhidmatan kebanyakkanya telah pun naik. Dalam kesempitan semua ini kita sebagai rakyat biasa terasa kesanya... bagaimana pula mereka yang lebih susah?? Sudah lah tidak mendapat voucer tunai dari kerajaan, tetapi tetap merasa kesan kenaikkan minyak pada pembelian beras dan lain-lain. Semua ini ujian hidup, mungkin paling besar bagi semua rakyat Malaysia dan seluruh dunia. Ada kenalan memberitahu, " Aku rasa, kerajaan ni bagus lah, dier naikkan harga minyak supaya kita berjimat, dier naikkan harga elektrik supaya kita tido awal, dier naikkan harga beras supaya kita berdiet dan kurangkan amik karbohidrat... so kita akan jalani gaya hidup sehat, ko rasa camne??" :)

Bagi yang membaca secara muktakhir berkenaan punca kenaikkan harga minyak, pasti tahu laporan terbaru bahawa, kenaikkan harga minyak bukan berpunca daripada pengeluaran dan permintaan, kerana OPEC memberitahu bekalan minyak adalah mencukupi, tetapi disebabkan oleh spekulasi pasaran. Siapa yang mengawal semua ini dan siapa mewujudkan spekulasi, tambahan pula spekulasi bahawa Israel akan menyerang Iran menyebabkan semua ini bertambah teruk. Semua sedia maklum ketika perang harga minyak pasti naik seperti Perang Teluk dahulu.

Ada diriwayatkan didalam Kitab junjungan kita, Al-Quran bahawa satu hari nanti emas hitam ini ( minyak ) akan dikawal dan disalah guna oleh orang yang tidak sepatutnya. Mungkinkah itu yang sedang berlaku? Kita hanya boleh menafsir, tapi semua sedar bahawa ujian Allah itu datang bukan sahaja dalam bentuk kesusahan malah kesenangan juga merupakan ujian dariNya.

Hmm Assalamualaikum! Another animation test, actually i try to get The Cube vfx like in the transformers the movie. As far I concern, sumthing complex like that should be or some how the animator use scripting to get that. because as i did this demo i only manage to keyframe the total 5x5x5 box that took me a lot of time. If anyone of you remember the cube scene transform to smaller cube, the total box that are animated should be thousand!!

Here is another tutorial in video format (without audio). Usually many new 3d artist doesnt know how to manipulate modifier list to the max ( including me actually ). This time I show you how Noise modifier can be used in poly modeling to create table runner ( cloth ). Take note ( while you go tru this video, "how the heck he pull the edges to create mesh?" --- because audio doesnt included, I write a note : To create mesh by selecting edges, select the required edges, push shift + left click ur mouse and drag..;)
